Teaching Assistant Level 2 needed for part-time, permanent role at a school committed to student success.

The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in the classroom and assist with learning programmes to help students reach their full potential. This is a part-time, permanent role with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist students with learning and behaviour management in line with school policies.
  • Help implement care and support programmes to aid student progress.
  • Work in both classroom and non-classroom settings as required.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support students with special educational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and support provided.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
  • Experience working with children and young people.

Preferred

  • Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
  • Experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) support.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
