The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in the classroom and assist with learning programmes to help students reach their full potential. This is a part-time, permanent role with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Assist students with learning and behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Help implement care and support programmes to aid student progress.
- Work in both classroom and non-classroom settings as required.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support students with special educational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and support provided.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
- Experience working with children and young people.
Preferred
- Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
- Experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) support.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
