Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals and small groups with specific educational needs
• Assist in planning and delivering learning activities tailored to student requirements
• Promote positive behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
• Provide encouragement and motivation to students to help them reach their potential
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a busy educational environment

Preferred

• Experience working with secondary pupils
• Previous experience in a teaching or support role
• Knowledge of inclusive education practices
• Experience with CPD and professional development
