Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in KS1 and KS2.
  • Plan and assess learning in line with the Teacher Standards 2012 and the Pay and Conditions Document.
  • Foster a positive learning culture with high expectations and a focus on achievement.
  • Support students’ academic progress, well-being, and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Implement Assessment for Learning strategies to enhance student outcomes.
  • Encourage independent learning and creativity in the classroom.
  • Work closely with parents and the wider school community to support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 and KS2 teaching.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Familiarity with the Teacher Standards 2012 and current educational legislation.

Preferred

  • Experience with Assessment for Learning and Independent Learning strategies.
  • Background in professional development and training.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and innovation in teaching practice.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
