Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in KS1 and KS2.
- Plan and assess learning in line with the Teacher Standards 2012 and the Pay and Conditions Document.
- Foster a positive learning culture with high expectations and a focus on achievement.
- Support students’ academic progress, well-being, and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Implement Assessment for Learning strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Encourage independent learning and creativity in the classroom.
- Work closely with parents and the wider school community to support student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 and KS2 teaching.
- Commitment to student well-being and academic achievement.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
- Familiarity with the Teacher Standards 2012 and current educational legislation.
Preferred
- Experience with Assessment for Learning and Independent Learning strategies.
- Background in professional development and training.
- Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and innovation in teaching practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
