The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Headteacher to lead a successful Catholic school with a strong academic record and a supportive community. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to shape the future of education and drive continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement a clear vision for the school aligned with Catholic values and educational best practice.
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students.
- Promote and maintain a strong Catholic ethos across the school community.
- Ensure effective safeguarding practices and a safe, inclusive environment for all students.
- Work closely with the academy trust to leverage support in areas such as finance, HR, and school improvement.
- Engage with parents, the local community, and other schools to build strong partnerships.
- Drive improvements in academic standards and student outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A practising Catholic with a clear understanding of Catholic education and the ability to promote the Catholic ethos.
- Proven leadership experience in a school setting, with the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
- Strong knowledge of current educational practice and curriculum development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in raising academic standards and improving student outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school or with Catholic education.
- Experience with multi-academy trust structures and support systems.
- Leadership in a school with a strong academic record.
- Experience in Continuing Professional Development and staff training.
- Familiarity with online training platforms and professional development resources.
