The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students with complex needs in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. This role offers the chance to contribute to the personal growth and development of students, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to students with complex needs.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized learning activities.
  • Promote positive behavior and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individual education plans.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students as required.
  • Monitor student progress and report to teaching staff regularly.
  • Engage with students and families to support their learning and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children with complex learning needs and/or autism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple school sites as needed.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a special educational needs setting.
  • Experience with teaching assistants or support roles in education.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and practices.
  • Experience with performing arts or creative activities.

Compensation & Benefits:
