Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with complex needs to access learning and develop independence
  • Assist in preparing and delivering engaging classroom, practical, and outdoor activities
  • Provide consistent emotional, physical, and social support to promote wellbeing
  • Implement agreed strategies and follow guidance from teachers and professionals
  • Support autistic pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and personal care
  • Work flexibly across classes and learning environments as part of a supportive team
  • Facilitate playtimes, swimming sessions, and educational visits
  • Contribute to achieving pupils’ EHCP outcomes through consistent and effective support

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • A compassionate, adaptable approach to supporting pupils
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, hands-on school environment

Preferred

  • Experience working with autistic pupils or those with complex needs
  • Previous experience in a teaching or support role
  • Familiarity with educational strategies for neurodiverse learners
