Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with their learning and welfare, including those with special educational needs.
• Work under the direction of class teachers and the Inclusion Coordinator to support student progress.
• Provide practical and academic support tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students with medical or care plans as required.
• Promote a culture of learning and success among students.
• Participate in training and development to enhance support for students.
• Contribute to the overall mission of the school by fostering student engagement and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications.
• Level 2 (or GCSE equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.
• Experience working in a school environment or with children/young people.
• Willingness to undertake necessary training to support students.

Preferred

• Previous experience working with children with special needs and/or challenging behaviours.
