Key Responsibilities:

• Support students’ safety, welfare, and emotional regulation.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Collaborate with education and wellbeing teams to support student engagement.
• Develop and implement activities that promote emotional regulation and holistic development.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and act as a role model.
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning and behavioural needs.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of students’ academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with children and young people with social/emotional difficulties and/or challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs and enable learning progress.
• Demonstrated emotional availability and resilience.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a classroom or educational support setting.
• Basic ICT proficiency.
• Commitment to ongoing training and career development.
