Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to students at various academic levels.
- Support the teaching of the Lower School Science course and Double Award Science.
- Incorporate real-world examples and synoptic links across scientific disciplines.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of extension activities such as Dissection Club and science societies.
- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced teachers and highly qualified technicians.
- Prepare and assess students in line with the school's high academic standards.
- Promote student engagement and enthusiasm for Biology through interactive and inspiring teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Biology.
- Experience teaching Biology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and achieving excellent student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience with A Level and IGCSE Biology curricula.
- Familiarity with teaching science in a co-educational setting.
- Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular science activities.
- Knowledge of medical-related topics and links to the healthcare sector.
