The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic compliance team as a Trainee Compliance Officer and gain hands-on experience in a range of compliance areas, including Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Fire Safety. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in compliance, governance, or school operations with formal training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Compliance Team in managing Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Fire Safety protocols.
- Assist with the administration of First Aid and policy management across the school.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance-related documentation and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Head of Compliance to ensure all governance activities are effectively managed.
- Participate in training and development programs to build expertise in compliance and risk management.
- Monitor and report on compliance-related metrics and outcomes.
- Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes affecting the school and its operations.
- Support the school in maintaining a safe and compliant environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong digital skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and highly organised individual with a willingness to learn.
- No prior compliance experience required; early-career professional or recent graduate preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Health & Safety or Data Protection regulations.
- Knowledge of governance frameworks or risk management practices.
- Experience in an educational or school environment.
- Strong understanding of compliance processes and procedures.
