Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an innovative, inclusive curriculum.
• Support students in overcoming barriers to success and fostering a love of Science.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of Science teaching and learning.
• Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure outstanding academic outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Relevant degree in Chemistry or a related science subject.
• Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting all students to succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching at Key Stage 5.
• Experience with Science curriculum development and innovation.
• Familiarity with modern Science teaching methods and technologies.
• Experience working in an all-ability school setting.
