The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vocational Business Teacher to join our dynamic team and deliver high-quality education up to Level 3. This is an exciting time to be part of a school with a strong sense of community and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Vocational Business courses up to Level 3.
  • Support students through a range of extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
  • Participate in departmental and school-wide events, including trips, competitions, and community projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students, including through study support and revision sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the development of the department and the school’s wider educational goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in business education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Vocational Business.
  • Experience in teaching Vocational Business up to Level 3.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in sixth form or college settings.
  • Experience with external competitions or business-related activities.
  • Involvement in extracurricular or pastoral activities.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
