The Opportunity:
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students transition smoothly from primary to secondary education. You will contribute to designing a bespoke KS3 curriculum that supports and challenges students, while promoting academic and personal growth. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and potentially take on leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare bespoke schemes of learning and lessons tailored for students with SEND
- Contribute to the design of an engaging, relevant, and challenging curriculum
- Ensure all students make good or outstanding progress with high-quality teaching
- Promote the well-being and general progress of individual students and groups
- Support CPD across the school by sharing best practice and resources
- Promote personalisation through vibrant and exciting learning opportunities
- Organise resources to create a purposeful learning environment using traditional and SEN teaching methods
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other adults to develop programmes of study
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in primary education
- Experience working with students with SEND
- Strong knowledge of English and Maths curricula
- Commitment to innovative and inclusive teaching practices
- Ability to deliver effective small group interventions
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development
- Familiarity with project-based learning and ICT integration
- Experience in pastoral support or mental health awareness
- Leadership experience or interest in taking on leadership roles
