Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure consistent delivery of school policies and practices.
• Coordinate year group planning to ensure progression and a variety of learning experiences across six classes.
• Mentor and coach colleagues within the year group to enhance teaching and assessment practices.
• Oversee the pastoral care of students, ensuring their well-being and success.
• Build strong relationships with parents through workshops and celebrations of student achievements.
• Plan and deliver enrichment activities that support student development and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
• Proven experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Previous leadership experience, particularly in managing a team.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for education and student success.

Preferred

• Experience with British Schools Overseas (BSO) standards and practices.
• Familiarity with programs such as Talk 4 Writing and Read-Write-Inc.
• Experience in safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
• Fluency in Arabic or other languages.
