Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of teachers, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the year group.
• Plan and deliver a comprehensive curriculum that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum of England.
• Coordinate and manage pastoral care for students within the year group.
• Promote strong relationships with parents through workshops and celebrations of student achievements.
• Develop and implement enrichment opportunities that enhance the learning experience.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to support colleagues in their professional development.
• Ensure consistent delivery of school policies and practices across the year group.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for both students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
• Experience of teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Previous leadership experience, particularly in managing a team.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a British International School setting.
• Familiarity with programs such as Talk 4 Writing and Read-Write-Inc.
• Experience in pastoral care and student welfare.
• Fluency in Arabic or other languages.
• Experience with safeguarding and child protection policies.
