The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality A Level French lessons to students aged 16-19, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and support student progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to help students improve and succeed.
- Support the wider college community by contributing to extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the institution to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s commitment to continuous improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for lessons and assessments.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student confidence and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in A Level French teaching.
- Demonstrable record of outstanding results and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community.
Preferred
- Experience teaching A Level French and/or other post-16 subjects such as English or Media.
- Current or recent initial teacher training candidate with demonstrated potential for post-16 teaching.
- Experience with CPD and professional development.
- Familiarity with collaborative working and teaching school environments.
