Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality A Level French lessons to students aged 16-19, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their full potential.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and support student progress.
• Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to help students improve and succeed.
• Support the wider college community by contributing to extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the institution to enhance teaching and learning practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s commitment to continuous improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for lessons and assessments.
• Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student confidence and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in A Level French teaching.
• Demonstrable record of outstanding results and a commitment to student success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community.

Preferred

• Experience teaching A Level French and/or other post-16 subjects such as English or Media.
• Current or recent initial teacher training candidate with demonstrated potential for post-16 teaching.
• Experience with CPD and professional development.
• Familiarity with collaborative working and teaching school environments.
