Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging A Level Law teaching that inspires and challenges students.
- Design and implement inclusive, adaptive teaching strategies that support all learners, including those with special educational needs.
- Prepare students for successful outcomes in exams, university entry, and careers in law and related fields.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date schemes of work, assessment plans, and teaching resources.
- Conduct initial assessments and use performance data to guide teaching and support student improvement.
- Provide clear, timely, and developmental feedback to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Support student behaviour and wellbeing, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Build links with industry and employers to enhance curriculum relevance and student employability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant subject qualification at or above the level taught.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS) or commitment to achieving one.
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or a commitment to obtain Level 2 Functional Skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A Level Law or related subjects.
- Experience with inclusive teaching practices and supporting students with SEND.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with digital technologies in education.
