Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality A Level Politics lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Politics curriculum.
- Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance student experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive departmental culture.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with developments in the Politics subject area and educational trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Politics.
- Experience teaching A Level Politics or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Flexibility and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the institution.
Preferred
- Experience in a small group teaching environment.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
- Experience with extracurricular activities related to Politics or the Humanities.
- Familiarity with the UK political system and current affairs.
