A Level Politics Teacher required for a part-time role starting September 2026.

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality A Level Politics lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Politics curriculum.
  • Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance student experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive departmental culture.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Politics subject area and educational trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Politics.
  • Experience teaching A Level Politics or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Flexibility and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the institution.

Preferred

  • Experience in a small group teaching environment.
  • Background in pastoral care or student support.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities related to Politics or the Humanities.
  • Familiarity with the UK political system and current affairs.
