The Opportunity:

Join a school as an Accounting Teacher and play a key role in delivering high-quality A-level Accounting and Business education. This position offers the chance to inspire students and support their academic and personal development in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective A-level Accounting and Business lessons using a variety of teaching strategies.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement frameworks to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Conduct formal observations of teaching and provide constructive feedback to support staff development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and positive learning environment for students.
  • Manage the delivery of A-level provision with a focus on achieving successful student outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Support students in taking responsibility for their learning and behaviour.
  • Participate in staff development activities and contribute to team building and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering 16–19 curriculum.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting and Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing A-level provision with successful student outcomes.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and quality improvement frameworks.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with formal teaching observations and feedback processes.
  • Experience in staff development and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and student support strategies.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £35,947.46 to £44,356.75.
