The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality education to students at levels 2 and 3 within the Health and Service Industries Pathway. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and contribute to a forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Health and Social Care lessons to students at levels 2 and 3.
  • Utilize innovative digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the 16–19 curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and mentorship.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering 16–19 curriculum.
  • A degree or other relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven ability to engage students and deliver effective lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and staff collaboration.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching BTEC Health and Social Care qualifications.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Experience with newly qualified teachers or mentoring.
  • Background in inclusive education and student support.

Compensation & Benefits:
