The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality education to students at levels 2 and 3 within the Health and Service Industries Pathway. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Health and Social Care lessons to students at levels 2 and 3.
- Utilize innovative digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the 16–19 curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
- Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and mentorship.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering 16–19 curriculum.
- A degree or other relevant professional qualification.
- Proven ability to engage students and deliver effective lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and staff collaboration.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching BTEC Health and Social Care qualifications.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
- Experience with newly qualified teachers or mentoring.
- Background in inclusive education and student support.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range from £35,947.46 to £44,356.75 per annum, with progression opportunities.
