The Opportunity:

As a Business Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality BTEC Business and A-Level curriculum to students. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Business curriculum to students aged 16–19.
  • Design and implement learning strategies that incorporate digital technologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching across the Business and Professional pathway.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals through effective teaching and pastoral care.
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives to enhance teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of A-Level Accounting and Economics where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records and assess student progress in line with school policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering 16–19 curriculum.
  • A degree or other relevant professional qualification in Business.
  • Proven ability to manage a classroom and deliver effective lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching BTEC Business or A-Level subjects.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and technologies.
  • Experience in staff development and team collaboration.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student support.
