The Opportunity:
As a Business Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality BTEC Business and A-Level curriculum to students. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Business curriculum to students aged 16–19.
- Design and implement learning strategies that incorporate digital technologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching across the Business and Professional pathway.
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals through effective teaching and pastoral care.
- Participate in staff development and training initiatives to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of A-Level Accounting and Economics where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records and assess student progress in line with school policies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and personal development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering 16–19 curriculum.
- A degree or other relevant professional qualification in Business.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom and deliver effective lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching BTEC Business or A-Level subjects.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and technologies.
- Experience in staff development and team collaboration.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student support.
