Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote strong academic progress and student achievement.

  • Monitor student progress closely and provide clear, actionable feedback to support learning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the accounting curriculum.

  • Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate them into teaching practice.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure consistent standards and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in accounting.
  • Experience in teaching at the sixth form or equivalent level.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to high academic standards and student achievement.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering A Level or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Experience in providing pastoral support or mentoring students.
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
