Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3-4
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire pupils of all abilities
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Maths curriculum
  • Support the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Mathematics
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3-4
  • Effective classroom management and teaching skills
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development
  • Experience working in a Catholic school or with a faith-based ethos
  • Experience with supporting students of diverse abilities
  • Experience with using IT and digital resources in teaching
