The Opportunity:
As an Admin Assistant and Head's PA, you will be a key member of the school's administrative team, providing essential support to the Head and ensuring the smooth operation of the school office. This role combines administrative duties with the responsibility of managing the Single Central Register, making it a vital part of the school's daily operations and safeguarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head with scheduling, correspondence, and event coordination.
- Manage the Single Central Register, ensuring compliance with recruitment policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for staff and pupil information.
- Provide efficient administrative support to the school office and wider staff.
- Coordinate communication between the Head, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of school events and initiatives.
- Ensure a warm and professional experience for all visitors and stakeholders.
- Support the school's administrative systems and processes with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven administrative experience, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong IT proficiency, including experience with school management systems.
- Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding policies.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational institution.
- Knowledge of SCR (Single Central Register) procedures.
- Experience in a leadership or PA role.
- Understanding of educational policies and procedures.
- Experience in managing records and data.
