The Opportunity:

As an Admin Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and financial support to the school, contributing to the efficient running of the school office and supporting the Senior Leadership Team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school
  • Assist with the organisation, documentation, and minute-taking of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team with a range of administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and handle data with precision
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Manage your own workload and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the school office
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school by supporting pupils and the wider school community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience of general clerical, administrative, and financial work
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Confidence using ICT systems, including Word, Excel, and databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and financial information
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and supporting pupil wellbeing
  • Willingness to undertake first aid training

Preferred

  • Experience with Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting
  • Experience with safeguarding procedures
  • Knowledge of school administration systems
