The Opportunity:
As an Office Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively. This role is integral to maintaining a supportive and successful learning environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the school’s administrative and support services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the school
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and Trust colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing
- Liaise with functional experts to ensure best practices in information management and assessment processes
- Support the development of staff through training and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of school management software and systems
- Coordinate communication between different departments and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or management role within an educational setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Experience with school management systems and software
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization
- Background in special needs education
- Experience with developing and implementing administrative procedures
- Knowledge of education sector policies and procedures
