The Opportunity:

As an Office Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively. This role is integral to maintaining a supportive and successful learning environment for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the school’s administrative and support services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the school
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and Trust colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing
  • Liaise with functional experts to ensure best practices in information management and assessment processes
  • Support the development of staff through training and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of school management software and systems
  • Coordinate communication between different departments and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or management role within an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Experience with school management systems and software

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization
  • Background in special needs education
  • Experience with developing and implementing administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of education sector policies and procedures
