The Opportunity:

As an After-School Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for boys after school hours. You will be responsible for overseeing activities, supporting learning, and ensuring the well-being of students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support pupils in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Organise and lead a range of engaging after-school activities
  • Support independent reading and academic development
  • Maintain high standards of welfare, safeguarding, and child protection
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
  • Collaborate with the Head of Pre-Prep and wider team
  • Promote the school’s ethos and values through daily interactions
  • Ensure a smooth transition between school hours and after-school care

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in child care or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to child welfare and safeguarding
  • Ability to manage a team and support students effectively
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting

Preferred

  • Experience with after-school programs or extracurricular activities
  • Knowledge of child development and behaviour management
  • Experience with school administration or pastoral care
  • Familiarity with music, sport, or arts education
