The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics, Further Maths, and Statistics, following the OCR (MEI) and Edexcel specifications.
- Support student learning through differentiated instruction and targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review curriculum content and assessment strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Support the school’s mission to foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Mathematics or an allied subject.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at A level or GCSE.
- Commitment to student progress and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a sixth form or secondary school setting.
- Familiarity with the OCR (MEI) and Edexcel specifications.
- Experience with pastoral support and student engagement.
- Involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities related to Mathematics.
