The Opportunity:

As an Arabic Learning Assistant, you will support students in their learning journey, working closely with teachers to ensure every child receives the attention and guidance they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individual and small groups of students as directed by class teachers.
  • Assist with classroom activities, adapting strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Record and present evidence of student learning in line with school requirements.
  • Follow agreed learning programs and support students in achieving their targets.
  • Contribute to the well-being of students, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and record-keeping during non-contact time.
  • Prepare and store resources required for teaching and learning.
  • Maintain detailed notes in Individual Education Plan (IEP) books as required.
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to class teachers to support assessments and report writing.
  • Accompany students on school trips and ensure compliance with all school policies and documentation.
  • Supervise students during breaks and ensure a safe, positive environment at all times.
  • Communicate professionally with parents to support the school’s image and reputation.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as directed by class teachers, including support across other classes and areas of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum A-Level or equivalent qualification (attested by UAE Embassy and MOFA).
  • Experience or aptitude for working with students; teaching or teaching assistant experience preferred.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently when required.

Preferred

  • Experience in educational support roles or teaching assistant positions.
  • Familiarity with curriculum delivery and student assessment practices.
  • Experience with individual learning plans and special educational needs support.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language and culture.
