The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Assistant to join our team in Dubai. This role is central to supporting students in Grades 1-5 and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to making a meaningful impact on student outcomes and school improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction to students in Grades 1-5
• Assist in creating and maintaining an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and activities
• Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and parents
• Participate in professional development and training sessions
• Engage with the local community and support initiatives that enhance student learning
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
• At least two years of experience supporting teachers in a school setting
• Recent experience working with students in Grades 1-5 (Years 2-6)
• Ability to work in an American curriculum school (training provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student welfare and safety

Preferred

• Experience working with Emirati students and families
• Background in teaching or education support
• Knowledge of Arabic culture and Islamic values
• Flexibility and enthusiasm to engage with a diverse student population
