Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that reflect the school’s values and curriculum standards.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.
  • Plan and implement lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Utilize educational technology and blended learning strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent disciplinary practices and ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and development.
  • Contribute to department meetings and curriculum planning discussions.
  • Support after-school activities and community events as required.
  • Uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s of Education degree or a valid certified professional teaching qualification and license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the US Curriculum.
  • Experience working with English Language Learners.
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate (IB).
