Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality GCSE Photography and Art lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Work collaboratively with the Head of Creatives to maintain and enhance departmental standards
• Develop innovative and engaging learning opportunities beyond the classroom
• Contribute to the strategic development of the Art and Photography curriculum
• Support student attainment through effective teaching and learning strategies
• Participate in staff development and wider school initiatives
• Maintain strong and positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Promote a culture of inclusion and high achievement across the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching GCSE Photography and Art
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Photography
• Commitment to raising student attainment and fostering a love of the subject
• Ability to contribute to the development of the curriculum and departmental strategy
• Experience working in a school environment with a focus on inclusion and student support

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers
• Background in using cutting-edge technology in teaching and learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ECTs will be considered
