We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Geography Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students achieve excellent outcomes in Geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons at KS3 and KS4, ensuring engaging and challenging learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure all learners reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the Geography department to enhance the curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills and subject knowledge.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of Geography through real-world applications and fieldwork.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Geography at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong subject knowledge of Geography.
  • Demonstrable ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering active and interactive lessons.
  • Background in working within a successful and supportive school environment.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Familiarity with fieldwork and practical Geography teaching methods.
