Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mathematics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

- Support and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to enhance the learning experience for students.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that reflects the school’s ethos of faith, nurture, and service.
- Engage in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the strategic direction of the institution.
- Oversee and support the delivery of Mathematics across all key stages, including GCSE and beyond.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Mathematics education.
- Proven leadership experience in a school or college setting.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding student outcomes and raise achievement.
- Experience in curriculum development and pedagogical innovation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a department or team in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with inclusive education and supporting students with special needs.
- Experience in school improvement and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of current educational research and best practices in Mathematics teaching.
