Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art and Photography lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Develop and implement creative, engaging, and curriculum-focused lesson plans.
  • Support students in developing their artistic skills and confidence.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with school standards.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and Photography.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Art and Photography.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience working in a school setting, ideally in a similar role.

Preferred

  • Experience with ECT (Early Career Teacher) development.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies.
  • Experience in delivering extra-curricular activities or clubs.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and strategies for diverse learners.
