Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that support student achievement.
  • Manage a classroom effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and enrichment activities.
  • Support the development of the Art and Technology faculty through collaboration and shared best practices.
  • Maintain and update teaching resources to ensure a consistent and high-quality curriculum across key stages.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and personal development.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities offered by the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Art or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Art at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to promoting creativity and cultural awareness in education.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering enrichment programs or extra-curricular activities.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and resources used in Art education.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
