Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of art and design curriculum across all key stages
- Maintain and manage art resources, equipment, and materials
- Assist in the planning and organisation of art-related events and activities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement creative learning experiences
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring art environment for all students
- Provide technical support during art lessons and extracurricular activities
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the art department’s teaching and learning strategies
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of art facilities and equipment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in an educational or creative environment
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage and maintain art resources and equipment
- Commitment to supporting student learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of health and safety procedures in a school setting
Preferred
- Experience working in a school or college setting
- Knowledge of art techniques and materials
- Experience with digital art tools and software
- Experience in curriculum development or support
- Experience in pastoral care or student support
