Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of media and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Media Studies or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Media Studies at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, creative lessons.
  • Commitment to inclusive and comprehensive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 5 (A Level).
  • Experience with digital media production and editing software.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on student well-being and academic success.
  • Demonstrable track record of student achievement and progression.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in media and communications.
