The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Art Teacher to join our dynamic department and contribute to the education of students across all Key Stages, including A Level. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and successful school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art across all Key Stages, including A Level, with a focus on inspiring creativity and technical skill
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with the school’s educational vision
  • Act as a form tutor, supporting students’ pastoral and academic development
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Art curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art education
  • Strong knowledge of Art curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Experience teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4, including A Level
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience working with girls’ schools
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular art programs
  • Familiarity with digital art tools and software
  • Experience with pastoral care and form tutoring
  • Evidence of continued professional development in Art education
