Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality art lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
- Develop and maintain a stimulating and creative learning environment.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that promote the arts.
- Monitor and assess student progress in line with school policies and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in art education.
- Strong knowledge of art techniques, history, and theory.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Preferred
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 4 and 5 (A Level).
- Background in art-related further education or professional practice.
- Experience with digital art tools and software.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
