Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality art lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
  • Develop and maintain a stimulating and creative learning environment.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Department to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that promote the arts.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with school policies and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in art education.
  • Strong knowledge of art techniques, history, and theory.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 4 and 5 (A Level).
  • Background in art-related further education or professional practice.
  • Experience with digital art tools and software.
  • Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
