Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Social Sciences to students across Key Stages 4 and 5
• Work collaboratively with department heads and the wider school team to drive academic success
• Support students in achieving positive outcomes through a clear and structured curriculum
• Participate in shared planning and resource development with the department
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training
• Implement and maintain a consistent approach to behaviour and learning
• Provide feedback to students in line with the school’s whole-class feedback policy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
• Experience teaching Social Sciences at Key Stages 4 and 5
• Strong commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Psychology and Sociology
• Familiarity with A Level curriculum delivery
• Background in collaborative planning and resource sharing
• Experience with whole-class feedback strategies
• Passion for promoting student engagement and learning
