Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Social Sciences to students across Key Stages 4 and 5
- Work collaboratively with department heads and the wider school team to drive academic success
- Support students in achieving positive outcomes through a clear and structured curriculum
- Participate in shared planning and resource development with the department
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
- Implement and maintain a consistent approach to behaviour and learning
- Provide feedback to students in line with the school’s whole-class feedback policy
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
- Experience teaching Social Sciences at Key Stages 4 and 5
- Strong commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Psychology and Sociology
- Familiarity with A Level curriculum delivery
- Background in collaborative planning and resource sharing
- Experience with whole-class feedback strategies
- Passion for promoting student engagement and learning
