The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Economics and Business Teacher to inspire and engage students with a strong academic background and a love for the subject. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young minds in a vibrant, forward-thinking educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics and Business lessons to students across a range of ability levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging, innovative teaching strategies that promote student success and critical thinking.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence through individualised guidance and pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Participate actively in the school’s co-curricular programme and community events.
  • Monitor student progress and provide detailed, constructive feedback to support continued growth.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Economics and Business education and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Economics and Business at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with co-educational and boarding school environments.
  • Familiarity with A Level and GCSE curricula.
  • Experience in developing and delivering co-curricular activities.
  • Demonstrated success in student achievement and progression.
