As a Teacher of Media, you will play a key role in delivering a dynamic and innovative curriculum across all Key Stages. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-supported department and make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Media lessons across Key Stages, including A level.
- Support students of all abilities and backgrounds to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with an experienced Head of Department to develop and enhance teaching practice.
- Participate in continuous professional development and reflect on teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage with the wider school community and support the school’s mission and values.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Media or a related subject.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in developing and delivering curriculum content.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Media at A level.
- Familiarity with digital media and technology in the classroom.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
