Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Media lessons across Key Stages, including A level.
  • Support students of all abilities and backgrounds to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with an experienced Head of Department to develop and enhance teaching practice.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and reflect on teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage with the wider school community and support the school’s mission and values.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Media or a related subject.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in developing and delivering curriculum content.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Media at A level.
  • Familiarity with digital media and technology in the classroom.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
