Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Art at KS3 and KS4, covering painting, sketching, sculpture, photography, and multimedia.
• Develop innovative and engaging lesson plans that challenge and motivate students.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and creative development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality curriculum that promotes creativity and critical thinking.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote student engagement and creativity.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Stay up to date with current trends and developments in the Art field.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Art at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong artistic skills and a genuine passion for Art.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience in developing new initiatives and activities within the Art department.
• Knowledge of using digital tools and multimedia in Art education.
• Experience with teaching students with diverse learning needs.
