The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Science Teacher to join our Science team and inspire students at all key stages. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners and contribute to a forward-thinking educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics at A Level and all three sciences at GCSE level
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge and motivate students
  • Support the school’s pastoral care and co-curricular Floreat programme
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve departmental standards
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to curriculum design
  • Set high expectations and ensure consistent standards across all key stages
  • Participate in the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
  • Support students in achieving their full academic potential

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a Physics specialism
  • Experience teaching Science at both GCSE and A Level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to departmental goals

Preferred

  • Experience in Early Career Teacher (ECT) development
  • Experience with co-curricular or extra-curricular programme delivery
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and innovative teaching methods
  • Experience with boarding or pastoral responsibilities
