Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and challenge students in KS5 Psychology through engaging and intellectually rigorous lessons.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning that supports student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with a supportive and forward-thinking team of subject specialists.
- Bring innovation and creativity to teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
- Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence in building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure subject knowledge is excellent in order to inspire and facilitate student learning.
- Commit to the ethos and vision of the school, including participation in co-curricular activities and wider school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Psychology.
- Experience teaching Psychology at KS5 level.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching strategies and curriculum development.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
