Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized learning plans for students with autism and learning difficulties.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and social development.
- Collaborate with support staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.

- Engage in solution-focused approaches to support student wellbeing and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in special needs education.
- Experience working with students with autism and learning difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with complex medical conditions and physical disabilities.
- Knowledge of special educational needs frameworks and legislation.
- Experience in curriculum development for students with diverse needs.
- Familiarity with the Relational Culture Charter principles.
