The Opportunity:
As Chief Education Officer, you will lead the educational vision and strategy for a multi-academy trust, driving improvement and ensuring consistently high standards across all academies. This role is ideal for an experienced education leader who wants to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and school improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic educational leadership across all academies to drive improvement in standards and outcomes.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to shape and deliver the Trust’s educational vision and priorities.
- Lead school improvement initiatives and strengthen leadership capacity across the Trust.
- Ensure consistently high expectations for all pupils and maintain a culture of care, equity, and inclusion.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of education across all academies to support continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies that support the long-term growth and success of the Trust.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including governors, staff, and local communities.
- Ensure alignment of all educational practices with the Trust’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven track record of delivering sustained school improvement across multiple settings.
- Strong strategic insight and leadership skills at executive level.
- Experience in educational leadership within a multi-academy trust or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in leading large-scale educational initiatives or transformation programs.
- Background in early years, primary, secondary, and post-16 education.
- Experience with Ofsted inspections and school improvement processes.
- Strong understanding of current educational policies and trends.
