Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in producing high-quality art and design work
  • Maintain and manage art equipment, materials, and resources
  • Assist in preparing and setting up art classrooms and workshops
  • Collaborate with art teachers to deliver engaging and creative learning experiences
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff
  • Provide first aid support as required within the school
  • Contribute to the development of the school's art curriculum and extra-curricular activities
  • Support the school's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social justice

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong interest and knowledge in art and design
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience in a school or educational setting

Preferred

  • Previous experience as an Art Technician or in a similar role
  • Experience with a range of art media and techniques
  • Experience working with young people
  • Familiarity with digital art tools and software
  • Experience in curriculum development or teaching support
