EYFS Tutor needed in Chelsea with SEN experience. Excellent written and spoken English required.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced EYFS Tutor to provide high-quality support to young learners in the Chelsea area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and structured EYFS lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Support students with special educational needs using the Bright Heart Approach
  • Communicate regularly with parents and school staff to monitor student progress
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of student performance and development
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with education consultants to enhance teaching methods and strategies
  • Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong subject knowledge in early years education
  • University qualification or currently studying towards one
  • A current Enhanced DBS certificate with a check of the children’s barred list
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Preferred

  • Experience with the Bright Heart Approach
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing individual learning plans (ILPs)
  • Experience in teaching students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Previous experience in working with children who lack confidence or motivation
  • Knowledge of study techniques and transition support for young learners
